2015 Literacy Fair

The 2nd Annual 2015 Literacy Fair at Sierra Elementary Complex was a great success.  All students in grades kindergarten through 5th grade created unique and detailed projects displaying their favorite books in a class, group, or individual project.  Students from TCES, Arrey Elementary, and SEC spent numerous hours bringing books to life. Completed projects include the book’s title, author, purpose, setting, copyright, tone/mood, theme, plot, and an imaginative way to display the information.

Thank you to our sponsors - ZIA PTO, Moose Lodge, and Women of the Moose for providing the individual winners with a Wal-Mart gift card, “Battle of the Books” T-shirt, and a new book.  The classroom winners received a pizza party.
